Chapter Eleven

When Brandon and Noah reached their room, Noah pulled off his shirt. Brandon followed suit.

“Brandon, will you please hold me?”

Brandon just nodded and patted the bed beside him.

Noah climbed up on the bed and snuggled his back into Brandon, who secured his arm around Noah’s waist.

“I never realized my voice was so good,” Noah said.

“Did you enjoy singing?”

“I did. Except for the applause. It was embarrassing.” After a brief moment, Noah continued. “But exciting too. I didn’t think I would like being put on the spot like that.”

“Yeah, but you did, didn’t you?”

“Somewhat.”

“If music is something you think you’d enjoy, maybe you should pursue it.”

“Oh, I don’t know. Singing for friends is one thing. I don’t know if I would be able to sing in front of a bunch of strangers.”

“You don’t think Summer Warfield or some other singers don’t have stage fright sometimes?”

“Probably not as bad as mine.”

Brandon learned into Noah, letting the scent of him fill and expand his senses.

Noah turned over to face him. Their faces were a few inches apart. Brandon locked eyes with him, drinking him in as much as possible.

“I’m still going to ask Caleb to be my daddy. Will you be okay with that?” Noah bit his lip.

“I’m not sure. I still don’t quite understand this daddy-cub-thing world or how you can have multiple lovers.”

Noah sighed. “It’s not as hard as you think. I compartmentalize. I’ll use the Dale Farm crew as an example.”

“Okay.”

“When Mason and I make love, he is teaching me and taking on the role of daddy. He may punish me if I do wrong or reward me with pleasure when I do right. Mason’s job is to help me expand outside my box in and out of the bedroom.”

“What about Ian?”

“Ian’s my big bro.”

“Wait, you call him ‘big bro’ even though you aren’t related? Why?”

“Have you never had a friend you called a brother before?”

Brandon shook his head.

“That’s too bad.” Noah began to sound wistful.

Probably best to get Noah back on a different topic. “So tell me about Ian?”

Noah smiled. “Ian and I both claim”—he paused, frowned, and then continued—“claimed, past tense, Mason as daddy. So it was our ongoing joke that we were brothers, even though we aren’t related.” Noah put air quotes around the word brothers. “Because we share the same daddy. Make sense?”

“Not really, but I’ll figure it out.”

Noah closed his eyes and then opened them again.

“Honestly, Noah, I think you were happier with Mason. I don’t think you’re happy here.”

Noah moved to speak, but Brandon reached up and touched his lips. “Just give it some thought before you make any decisions.”

Noah kissed Brandon’s fingertips. Their eyes locked for a moment before he leaned forward and kissed Brandon’s lips.

Brandon braced Noah’s head, deepening the kiss.

Noah groaned as his hand found its way to Brandon’s back. Brandon let go of Noah’s head and scooted over, pressing himself against him.

Noah kissed him hungrily and then turned to lie on his back.

Brandon moved as well, sliding nicely between Noah’s knees.
